Guram Sharadze

Georgian philologist, historian and politician

 Guram Sharadze was born on October 17, 1940 in a village Gurianta, Ozurgeti (Makharadze) region, Georgia.

In 1958 he successfully finished No 3 secondary school in Makharadze. The same year he was enrolled in Tbilisi State University, Department of Philology and after its graduation with honors in 1963 he was enrolled in the postgraduate courses of Shota Rustaveli Institute of Georgian Literature of Academy of Sciences of Georgia, specialty: old Georgian Literature and Rustvelology.
